Eddie is a qualified Chinese Patent Attorney and has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technology areas, including pharmaceuticals, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, medical devices, material science, engineering, and software.

Before joining Eagle IP, Eddie worked for over four years as a biologist at a pharmaceutical company in Hong Kong, conducting preclinical in vitro and in vivo efficacy and mechanism-of-action studies on novel cancer therapeutics. At Hong Kong Polytechnic University Eddie investigated active ingredients in Traditional Chinese Medicine and their uses in osteoporosis treatment.

Eddie’s areas of expertise include drug discovery, preclinical drug development, protein therapeutics, molecular and cell biology, immunotherapy and cancer diagnostic assays development.

His working languages are English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and Bahasa Melayu.
