We were glad to take part in BioHK2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre last week, and to meet many friends and professionals from the biotech, healthcare and life sciences sectors.

Our Yolanda Wang moderated the Patent Session panel, "Protect & Resolve: The Biotech IP Playbook for Going Global," on September 12. The discussion covered practical points for biotech companies expanding internationally, including IP planning, risk management and dispute resolution.

Many thanks to the organizers, fellow panelists and everyone who joined the discussion. It was a pleasure to be part of the programme.

As biotech companies continue to look beyond their home markets, early and practical IP strategy will remain an important part of business growth.
