Dr. Caleb Liu is a Technology Specialist who assists in patent drafting and prosecution in various areas, including electronics, computer systems, telecommunications, and electro-mechanical devices and systems.

Prior to joining Eagle IP, Caleb served as a faculty member at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi’an, China, where he taught information science and technology and conducted research for ten years. He led several research projects focusing on guidance, navigation, and control in the aerospace field. Caleb has authored numerous publications in international technical journals and conferences and is an inventor on several invention patents in China. Additionally, he was an honorary fellow of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States for his research on information processing in Wireless Sensor Networks. Caleb also has considerable entrepreneurial experience transferring his academic lab’s research outcomes to industries such as cybersecurity and AI through patent trade and investment.

Caleb’s areas of expertise include information processing, communication, computer engineering, navigation, automatic control, sensor networks, robotics, AI, cybersecurity, and aerospace engineering.
