Dr. Qin Han Teo

Dr. Teo is a technology specialist who assists in patent prosecution and drafting across various fields, including life sciences and chemistry. As an undergraduate, she participated in a research exchange at Durham University, UK, where she studied the chlorination of activated benzene derivatives using flow chemistry. She continued her postgraduate studies at the University of Hong Kong, focusing on (4+3) cycloadditions. These research experiences developed her expertise in organic chemistry, organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms and small molecules.

Her working languages are English, Putonghua Chinese, Cantonese and Bahasa Melayu.

Her practice includes patent invalidation oral hearings before the Patent Review Board (PRB) at CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration, formerly SIPO).
